How to: Add a network printer to a workstation.
Solution:
Open the 'Printers' window and double-click the 'Add Printer' icon. Select the network drive containing the printer. Select the driver.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Printers'. (The 'Printers' window appears.)

3) Double-click the 'Add Printer' icon. (The 'Add Printer Wizard' dialog box appears.)

4) Click 'Next'.
5) Select the 'Network printer' radio button.
6) Click 'Next'.
7) Do one of the following:
a) If the network path is known, type the network path to the printer in the 'Network path or queue name' box.
b) If the network printer path is unknown:
1] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Browse for Printer' dialog box appears.)
2] Select the network computer to which the printer is connected, and click 'OK'.
8) To print from MS-DOS programs, select the 'Yes' radio button.
9) Click 'Next'.
10) Do one of the following:
a) Select from the list of available printers:
1] In the 'Manufacturers' list box, select a manufacturer.
2] In the 'Printers' list box, select a printer model.
b) If the manufacturer is not listed, use the manufacturer's disk:
1] Click 'Have Disk...'. (The 'Install From Disk' dialog box appears.)

2] Select the appropriate drive from the 'Drives' drop-down list, and click 'OK'.
3] If necessary, select a printer from the 'Printers' list box.
11) Click 'Next.'
12) If necessary, select the printer port from the 'Available ports' list box, and click 'Next'.

13) (Optional) Type a name for the printer in the 'Printer name' box.
14) To set the printer as the default printer for Windows 95, select the 'Yes' radio button.
15) Click 'Next'.
16) If you do not want to print a test page, select the 'No' radio button.
17) Click 'Finish'.
18) If prompted, insert the appropriate diskette or CD-ROM, and click 'OK'.
19) Select the 'File' menu and click 'Close' to exit the 'Printers' window.
